Imprecise Cartography. Marks and looks (2015 - 17)*
|
In order to discover the American Chaco, we have to destroy its conventional image. We have to
highlight the realities that it conceals. Therefore, the imprecise cartography that I propose is a path made of images, ideas and words of the very people who make those territories. The power of the look, the intimacy of human contact and the authenticity of words are claimed in sharp contrast with the coldness of the data that govern the bureaucracy world. This exhibition was part of an artistic project, Chaco Ra’anga, sponsored by AECID the cooperation agency of the Spanish Government and it was displayed in Spain, Argentina, Bolivia and Paraguay. *Chaco Ra’anga project http://www.chacoraanga.org/Imprecise |
